LITHOTEX® Pavecrafters® imprinting tools and embossing skins provide an extensive range of patterns and textures that can be used to enhance the surface of concrete hardscapes. These durable tools are made from high-quality polyurethane that produces realistic details.
The surface of freshly-placed concrete is like a work of art that is just waiting for the artist's touch. The concrete can be colored, stamped or textured to impart a wide variety of classic appearances.
Scofield has developed a complete engineered system for this purpose.
You start by selecting a base color for your concrete -- CHROMIX® Admixtures for Color-Conditioned® Concrete (for consistent integral color) or LITHOCHROME® Color Hardener (for abrasion-resistant surface color).
The LITHOTEX Pavecrafters pattern or texture is then selected, as well as a second or third color (to add depth and realism to the imprinted concrete) in the form of LITHOCHROME® Antiquing Release. Typically you would choose antiquing release in darker colors for a more natural look.
Then you top it all off with a compatible Scofield Sealer, and the resulting imprinted concrete can be truly stunning.
