colored concrete plaza Space Needle
Seattle, WA, USA

System:

Colored Concrete -
CHROMIX® Admixtures for Color-Conditioned® Concrete
- Charcoal, Westwood Brown

Description
The exterior pavements around the rotunda drop-off area of this world famous Seattle landmark were created using contrasting bands of color. Slip-resistance was added by means of a light broom finish. Although the pavement was installed during a cold and wet spell of winter weather, the pour was faultless, thanks in part to the excellent workability of concrete enhanced with CHROMIX Admixtures for Color-Conditioned Concrete.
