Description
A highly effective finish in contrasting colors makes a five-year-old, unColored concrete interior basement floor look brand new.

During the refurbishment of this room to a games and entertaining area, the surface of the existing hard-troweled concrete floor was sanded to promote a more complete reaction with LITHOCHROME® Chemstain™. The pattern was routed using a 6mm blade, and the scoreline grouted after the application of the LITHOCHROME Chemstain.

Control joints run through the middle of the floor, but these have been cleverly disguised by incorporating them into the design. The floor withstands scuffing and spillages thanks to a waxing regime that involves high-speed rebuffing just once a year.
