What lies beneath?
Concrete floors are one of the most enduring (and ubiquitous) elements of the built environment. Known for their toughness and longevity, these useful floor surfaces have been tiled, carpeted, paneled and overlaid with a myriad of faster-wearing materials that add cost to the project and require higher maintenance and replacement for years and decades.
There is a better way, a more sustainable way and that is to utilize the concrete that is already there.
