SCOFIELD® Formula One™ Lithium Densifier MP is a high-quality lithium silicate concrete densifier capable of providing longer life and higher gloss for ground and polished concrete surfaces in Institutional, Retail, Healthcare, Commercial and many other environments.
SCOFIELD Formula One Lithium Densifier MP is formulated to penetrate the concrete surface. It contains a surfactant to promote wetting and requires minimal agitation. By keeping the surface wetter longer, you get more absorption of material with less evaporation. SCOFIELD Formula One Lithium Densifier MP contains no VOC's.
How does it work?
Water plus cement produces Calcium Silicate Hydrate (C-S-H) in a process known as Hydration. C-S-H is the binding system for concrete. Combined with the aggregate, C-S-H gives concrete its hardness and strength.
A reactive byproduct of the Hydration process is Calcium Hydroxide. When SCOFIELD Formula One Lithium Densifier MP is applied to concrete, it reacts with the existing Calcium Hydroxide to produce additional C-S-H. This additional C-S-H is what provides the increased hardness and densification of the Ground & Polished surface.
SCOFIELD Formula One Lithium Densifier MP has the highest percentage of reactive material*, and is optimized to make the silicate available more quickly for more rapid C-S-H formation.
