Colorful Chemstain adds beautiful translucent special effects to concrete. The reactive, penetrating concrete stain creates unique, permanent concrete color effects. The antique, mottled, variegated patina is ideal for exterior hardscapes, interior floors, or artificial rock and water features.

Chemstain penetrates and permanently stains new or existing concrete and cementitious toppings and wears only as the concrete wears. Use the reactive concrete stain for

The eight standard concrete colors can be used in conjunction with other Scofield concrete coloring systems to achieve infinite multicolored effects.

Multiple applications intensify colors. Infinite multicolored effects can be achieved by either layering the colors or applying the stains over other Scofield coloring systems or colored cementitious toppings.

For best results in large areas, professional quality, acid-resistant hand-pump sprayers are recommended.

Compatible Scofield concrete sealers should be used to protect the unique multicolored special effects.

New LITHOCHROME® Chemstain® Enhancer can be used to promote color development on cementitious toppings such as SCOFIELD® Overlay™, as well as increase reactivity on old concrete and previously acid-washed concrete surfaces that might otherwise be problematic.

Tintura is a new environmentally friendly stain that includes vivid reds, yellows, blues, pastel pinks and beiges and even grays. The waterborne stain penetrates and bonds with porous concrete or cementitious toppings for permanent, nonfading, predictable colors. When finished with the compatible sealer, it is durable enough for interior floors, walls, columns and other decorative features.

The penetrating, waterborne Tintura system is formulated specifically to stain concrete or cementitious toppings. Unlike coatings or paints which often delaminate when used on concrete, LITHOCHROME Tintura Stain chemically bonds with cured concrete that is uncolored, color hardened, or integrally colored. It is also compatible for use with SCOFIELD® Overlay™ or SCOFIELD® Texturetop® cementitious toppings. The Tintura System includes companion sealers that are required for long-term durability and long-lasting colors.

Tintura -- developed for use on interior floors where a regular maintenance program will be followed -- can also be used to improve the appearance of concrete walls, columns and other vertical decorative concrete features, and to create accent areas and graphics on horizontal exterior surfaces not subject to abrasion or heavy traffic.

Either a translucent or an opaque appearance can be achieved with this unique, proprietary system. Up to three coats may be applied to increase color intensity. The standard colors range from pastel tints and natural earth tones to brilliant and vivid hues. LITHOCHROME Tintura Stain can be color-matched to the full range of Scofield colors, and, in addition, custom colors can be produced. The final installed appearance can vary depending on the color consistency, condition and porosity of the substrate and the cement and aggregates used.

LITHOCHROME Color Hardener is used to add beautiful color -- vibrant or subtle -- into the surface of freshly placed concrete. Our ready-to-use, powdered dry-shake hardeners produce long-wearing horizontal surfaces ideal for pedestrian or vehicular traffic - indoors or out.

Easily incorporated into the surface of freshly placed concrete, LITHOCHROME Color Hardener forms unique hard landscapes and commercial floors. Surfaces enhanced with LITHOCHROME Color Hardener are

The total Scofield System includes compatible water-based curing agents, sealers, coatings and treatments recommended to protect and maintain the attractive surface appearance and help reduce maintenance by resisting stains. Scofield's Formula One Lithium Densifier & Finish Coat System is a two-part system engineered to deliver beautiful, durable processed concrete floors. Processed concrete (which is commonly referred to in the industry as grind and polish) is a term used to describe the alteration of a concrete surface through the use of mechanical processes. These processes involve cutting, grinding, honing and polishing the concrete surface until the desired appearance is achieved.

SCOFIELD® Formula One™ Lithium Densifier is a high-quality lithium silicate formulation capable of providing longer life and higher gloss for ground and polished concrete surfaces of all types. This superior formulation offers increased abrasion and water resistance, higher surface compressive strength, and reduced dusting. It will not contribute to alkali-silicate reactivity (ASR).

SCOFIELD Formula One Lithium Densifier produces a rapid chemical reaction which penetrates and densifies the upper layer of the concrete surface much more quickly than sodium silicate or potassium silicate formulas. It is a true architectural densfier which results in a beautiful, durable and extremely low-maintenance surface that is nontoxic and environmentally sound. The treated surface only requires periodic cleaning with a neutral or alkaline cleaner and water.

SCOFIELD® Formula One™ Finish Coat is used on ground and polished concrete after the diamond polishing has been completed. It is applied to the polished concrete and then buffed or burnished into the concrete surface to improve surface sheen and water resistance.
