GRAND PRIZE WINNER: DecoCrete, Richmond, VA
The Hilton Driveway project was comprised of a driveway and porta cochere area installed over a structural slab / parking garage. The project entailed removing 500,000 lbs of pavers that were failing, and installing stamped concrete with a seamless texture. The pavers were removed and the stamped concrete was installed in three pours while the hotel remained open. Pavers were recycled at a local recycling / repurpose center. 12,000 square feet of SCOFIELD® Integral Color SG in "Southern Clay" was used, stamped with LITHOTEX® Pavecrafters® Fractured Earth embossing skin, accented with LITHOCHROME® Antiquing Release in "Classic Gray" and "Deep Charcoal".
