What is Chemstain:
LITHOCHROME Chemstain is a ready-to-use, penetrating, reactive stain that chemically combines with cured
concrete to produce permanent, variegated or translucent color effects. Chemstain contains no VOC's and meets strict air quality
management regulations.
Where to use Chemstain:
LITHOCHROME Chemstain is ideal for exterior hardscapes, interior floors, or artificial rock and
water features. Chemstain produces concrete floors and hardscapes that are one-of-a-kind and permanent, with a distinct weathered
appearance. Chemstain colors and enhances, but will not hide the unique surface blemishes in the concrete.
How to apply Chemstain:
LITHOCHROME Chemstain is normally brush or spray applied and scrubbed into the concrete surface.
Other types of acid-resistant equipment, such as sponges, sponge floats, lambswool applicators, or spray bottles may be used to create
special effects. Refer to full application instructions in the Chemstain Technical Data Bulletin.
Seasoned professionals know that the right sprayer is vital to the success of any concrete stain job. Scofield recommends the SP
Systems 20ACID Sprayer for use with LITHOCHROME Chemstain Classic.

For best results on worn or weathered concrete, LITHOCHROME® Chemstain® Enhancer should be used. Chemstain Enhancer replaces
some of the chemicals in concrete that are lost due to weathering, and helps facilitate a more efficient chemical stain reaction.
LITHOCHROME Chemstain Classic should be sealed with a compatible Scofield Sealer.
