L. M. Scofield Company Announces Decorative Concrete Award Winners for 2009

ATLANTA, GA . . . L. M. Scofield Company is pleased to announce the winners of the Second Annual Decorative Concrete Awards contest. This contest is open to any Contractor, Architect or Designer who uses or specifies Scofield Systems.

Scores of entries were narrowed down to a group of nine finalists. The judges for this year's contest were Joe Nasvik of Concrete Construction magazine, Jim Peterson of Concrete Network, Rebecca Wasieleski of Concrete Contractor magazine and Mike Harrington of Chas. E. Phipps. The judges were not aware of the individuals or company names of the entrants.

The Grand Prize award, an engraved cut crystal trophy, was awarded to Lou DeCillis of Artistic Flooring Systems of West Bloomfield, MI. His winning entry - an 8,000 square foot acid-stained floor at The Asian Village restaurant - was recognized for its aesthetics, creativity and craftsmanship. The remaining finalists, who all receive a black glass commemorative plaque, were:
