L. M. Scofield Company wins first place in the Architect's Choice for Excellence (ACE) award
ATLANTA, GA . . . For the second year in a row, L. M. Scofield Company has won first place in the Architect's Choice for Excellence (ACE) award from the readers of ARCHITECT magazine in the Category:
Concrete/Concrete Materials
The winners were published in the November/ December 2007 issue of ARCHITECT and will be available online. The winners are recognized as the most respected and most specified in the industry. The voting criteria are based on outstanding product durability, exceptional customer service, superior value, and innovative designs.
"To be chosen to receive an ACE award is a singular honor indeed a distinction that demonstrates the company is highly regarded for its commitment to innovation, durability, high quality and superior customer service,"
- according to Russell S. Ellis, Publisher.
The nominees are drawn from a manufacturer list compiled by the publisher, Hanley-Wood, however readers can nominate additional write-in entries. The ACE ballot and manufacturers list appeared in the April, May and June 2007 issues of Architect.
In addition to the magazine's 88,000 plus readers, additional ballots are distributed and collected at the American Institute of Architects' annual conference, from consultations with industry experts and from random phone polling. While there can be as many as five winners in each of the 45 categories, L. M. Scofield Company was honored as the first place winner in Concrete.
