The European Fan and Brick Herringbone are great patterns; here they are expertly laid out to create balance and keep the pattern flowing toward the focal point of the building. The driveway is colored with Deep Charcoal LITHOCHROME Color Hardener and Charcoal LITHOCHROME Antiquing Release, and imprinted using European Fan bordered with 2' wide Brick Herringbone borders, which are colored Dark Red with LITHOCHROME Color Hardener and grouted for the most authentic appearance. The borders tie the drive to the front porch and steps, which are Brick Herringbone imprint with sailor course Brick borders.
The pool deck is imprinted with the Pennsylvania Slate Pattern using LITHOCHROME Color Hardener and LITHOCHROME Antiquing Release. Individual stones were highlighted with a proprietary technique for an authentic appearance. Accent areas of Dark Red Brick Herringbone were used at the table & fire pit area, creating uniformity between the pool deck, porch and driveway areas.
The Lanai area is imprinted with Fractured Slate pattern, colored with Pecan Tan LITHOCHROME Color Hardener with Classic Gray LITHOCHROME Antiquing Release, and then highlighted. A classic example of using colors and textures to define areas based on active, passive, and occasional usage.
