When Greg Mata of Cutting Edge Decorative Concrete was asked to reach deep down into his creative abilities and come up with the most amazing patio ever built, he rose to the challenge. "95% of the exterior components on this job are concrete, and the pad wraps around the entire home. We are only showing and describing the patio here, which is about 1/3 of the job," Mata says.

"The materials we preferred to use were a combination of custom colors of CHROMIX® Admixtures for Color-Conditioned® Concrete, LITHOCHROME® Tintura™ Stain and SCOFIELD® Selectseal-W™."

"The patio is made up of over 1.5 miles of inlayed zinc divider strips, separating 3 different integrally colored pours of concrete, which included italian marble chips, mother of pearl, and both chocolate and white glass aggregate, all ground and polished. The long bands that flow from end to end contain our proprietary product Illumi-crete™, which are fiber optic lights cast into concrete," according to Mata.
